Did this hike with DCNR guys (the Bens), was lovely trail with the best of the best who knew all kinds of tidbits on the trail, birds, wildlife, plants, flowers. Magical trip
Do this trail, several times a year, very close to my home. Bob was a friend of family & we visited often. DCNR guys made an awesome, sturdy bench at vista to enjoy view. It's a shorter hike but it's challenging. I've heard folks say it's an easy hike. I wouldn't classify it as easy, it can be steep at places. I'd bring sticks since trail often full of leaves, slip value high.
I do this trail 20x a year at least. V close to my home. It's lovely. Friendly reminder, what you bring in/take out, I find liter/wrappers all the time anymore.
Short beast. No switchbacks, trail not maintained/not marked well, esp on way down, filled with leaves. Hiked many times, Be careful, don't go solo, bring sticks. View awesome.
